The MBA’s Women in Leadership Club (WIL) has an events calendar that would make even the most extroverted person jealous. As an example, take one random month in the past year. The club’s social calendar included a guided tour of Paris focused on the city’s inspirational women. Next came an in-person mixer for all MBA cohorts, followed by a discussion on leadership co-hosted with two other MBA Clubs.
Still, with all the happenings on the club’s agenda, one stands out: the creation of a digital magazine. We.WIL officially debuted in August, 2020. From the start, the publication has featured a lively mix of profiles, personal essays and tips on what to see and do in Paris. “We wanted to create an interesting medium to connect students and allow them to be inspired by each other,” explains Suri Yang, MBA ’21, the magazine’s founder and WIL President from July 2020 to January 2021.
Since then, the eZine has continued to evolve as the club’s board has changed hands. The publication has switched names–it’s now called the WIL Magazine–and it’s moved from a monthly to a quarterly format.
We invite you to download copies of the magazine. It’s a great way to virtually meet some of the inspiring students in the HEC Paris MBA, and to learn how their experiences in the program have shaped them as leaders. Happy reading!
